TalentForce, an Employment Staffing Group Company, and leading provider of temporary staffing in the Midwest and Southeast, is currently searching for several associates in receiving and unloading for a major client in Asheville, NC.
Our client in a national retailer processing store and online returns for 586 outlets in Arden. Looking for energetic folks with a good attitude willing to cross train.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a ware house environment occasionally on levels above the warehouse floor. This a great opportunity for students.
Pay is $10.00 to $10.25 to start with OT available in the summer and fall, and all positions are temp to hire with great benefits after 90 days.
General Summary: The primary responsibility of a Merchandise Processor/ Returns is to pack and pick merchandise as required. This is done in a fast paced environment. The quality and performance of work has direct impact on customers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Determine return status (i.E. Return to stock, etc.).
Unloads Picks/Packs, Inspects ships/loads merchandise to customers.
Maintain daily returns related information manually or on a computer as required.
Identify potential problems on orders.
Maintain a detailed daily log of all activities.
Process customer returns.
Perform other department or company related projects as assigned.
Working with other warehouse managers on proper returns procedures.
Preparing and processing UPS Shipments.
Completing Damage Product forms as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Distribution center experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
Basic math skills.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Ability to work independently or in team as assigned.
Flexibility- Will be required to work in other areas. Overtime as needed.
Quality conscious and detail oriented.
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
