Maintenance Electronics Tech/Electrician s main focus is to ensure production equipment is maintained properly. The Electrician works with Production Supervisor and Maintenance Technician Leader to ensure timely repair of equipment. Multi-tasking and a sense of urgency are required daily to prevent excessive downtime of equipment.
Works to get machines/equipment running when downtime occurs
Tracks electrical breakdowns to develop preventive action plans
Reports all major issues to Facility Manager, General Manager and Production Manager
Works as a coordinator for outside electrical maintenance vendors
A working electrical/mechanical knowledge of general equipment function is expected and required
5-S Representative for Maintenance-electrical area
Responsible for the quality of all work performed
Accountable for any information needed by the Quality Steering Team
Other duties as assigned
Troubleshooting equipment failures of all types and other duties as assigned
Knowledge of running conduit and pulling simple wire circuits
Knowledge of changing and programming invertors
Capable of trouble shooting control systems
Working knowledge of AC/DC motors
Organizational skills with attention to details and accuracy
Clear and open communication skills
Ability to troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment down to the input/output level
Ability to program PLC s will be a plus
Minimum High School completion
License or Work related experience required
